PXL pail printers

Our PXL pail printers are designed for fast changeovers, with ease of access and high product printing stability in mind such that a user friendly machine is created. Our printing equipment is able to print up to 8 colors and using a modular design approach, we are able to deliver our equipment aligned with your wishes. 

For optimization of the printing process, auxiliary equipment such as an in-feed buffer and a re-stacker can be supplied.

To further decrease changeover time, the PXL pail printers are delivered per standard with automated register and settings based on a previous run.

Printing unit

Our printing unit is designed with a high printing quality stability in mind and uses swing open colour heads. The register is electronically actuated to allow for central adjustments. All xyz positions of the plate cylinders are adjustable and are automated for central adjustment and fast changeover time.

Colour heads

Our colour heads are designed for a high roller parallelism such that printing quality is consistent. An oscillating action is used to reduce ghosting effects and  as option cooled colour heads can be mounted for increased printing quality stability. 

Colour heads are easy to clean through the use of removable rollers. 

Operator interface

The PXL pail printer is centrally controlled using a rugged HMI that displays all required data. The register can be stored and read for quick set-up.

Feeding and re-stacking equipment

Feeding equipment can be supplied in cooperation with specialized companies.

UV curing

UV-inks can be locally cured using a servo controlled positioning stage to allow curing of the handle touch point. Final curing is done by passing the pails through through a UV-tunnel.

 

 

Pretreatment

The PXL lid printer can be fitted with a flame pretreatment module and or corona pretreatment module.

Oriented printing and varnishing

A servo controlled positioning stage for oriented printing is installed and is integrated in the centralized control of the machine along with the option to activate a varnishing sequence.
